What does the converter change?
Converts source dates to YYYY/MM/DD (a documented Xero import format), normalizes amounts to signed two-decimal numbers, merges debit/credit columns when necessary, and maps optional payee, description and reference. It flags invalid dates, ambiguous amounts, malformed CSV and repeated records. Repeated records remain in the preview—review them before importing. The tool never contacts Xero or your bank.
Supported target fields are Date, Amount, Payee, Description, Reference. Read Xero's official bank CSV instructions.
This tool is independent from and not endorsed by Xero. It does not constitute accounting advice. Avoid opening an untrusted exported CSV in a spreadsheet without reviewing formula warnings.
